Happy Shavuot!
Greetings,
It's Shavuot weekend, meaning we have a back to back sabbath, weekly Sabbath & then an annual sabbath.
The Wave Sheaf day/Last Day of Unleavened Bread was April 20th. Then you count 7 sabbaths plus one to get to 50. (Lev. 23:15-16)
We don't have a temple or Levitical priesthood right now so we can't do the sacrifices.
I love double Sabbaths. Two days to rest, worship, study & rejuvenate.
